SHOULD YOU SELL FSBO?
Many people think they can save money and sell their house easily on their own to save on commission costs. All you have to do is list your home on Zillow and people will contact you, see your house, and you’ll find a buyer. Sounds simple, right?
WRONG. Selling a home involves many complexities, and it may come as a surprise that opting for a private sale often results in higher costs than the commission saved.
Did you know? Agents sell homes for around 26% MORE on average than those who sell for sale by owner — completely covering those agent commissions that so many sellers try to avoid.
When it comes to the sale of your largest asset, hiring a professional is essential. So if you’ve been considering sticking a sign in the yard and selling your home on your own, here are a few factors that you should consider first.

SELLERS: DON’T LEAVE MONEY ON THE TABLE.
If you’re like most sellers, your hope is to sell your home for the highest possible price… because who wants to leave money on the table?

Is the market shifting? Yes, the housing market is ever-changing, which is why it’s important to work with an agent who stays up-to-date on market trends and changes, whether you’re looking to buy or sell.
There have been a! ...

So if you’re thinking of selling this year, it’s essential to prepare your home for the market, price it correctly from the start, and have a knowledgeable and experienced agent by your side to ensure your home sells quickly, and for top dollar.
1. PREP YOUR HOME TO SELL!
This includes decluttering, deep cleaning, and completing small repairs to make your home look its best to potential buyers.
2. HAVE A PRE-LIST HOME INSPECTION DONE
Having an inspection done before you list, gives you time to make repairs, and allows prospective buyers to see a full report of all issues with the home, providing them with peace of mind and confidence in their investment. In return, this allows the potential f. ...

So you’ve found “the one” and now it’s time to put together an offer. Here are some things to think about and talk to your agent about before you hit SUBMIT.
? What have similar homes in the area or neighborhood sold for recently? Is the asking price in line with the rest of the neighborhood?
? How long has the home been on the market? If it’s 1 day and there have been multiple offers, you probably need to offer above asking. But if it’s been a few weeks, you have more negotiating power.
? Are there any other offers on the table? Multiple offers change everything (keep reading for some tips).
? At what price would you feel as though you “overpaid” for the home? Don’t get caught up in the game of winning the house, make sure you are making decisions based on your needs so that you avoid buyer’s remorse.
